I’m Edward Tian (田勇) β€” an AI-focused technology leader with 20+ years of experience in software engineering, large-scale architecture, and startup leadership across the U.S. and China. My recent work centers on large language models (LLMs), multi-agent AI systems, and real-world AI deployment.

I’ve been a CTO, and to me, CTO is not a title β€” it’s a responsibility.

I position myself as a technological authority who understands business β€” not just a builder of systems, but a partner in growth.

Over the past two decades, I’ve led product-scale engineering teams, architected SaaS platforms from 0 to 1, and embedded AI into real-world workflows. I’ve been both in the trenches and at the whiteboard.

My approach to technology leadership rests on three core principles:

I thrive on building innovative products from scratch β€” from designing architecture to leading engineering teams to production. Most recently, I led the development of Project Javis, an AI-native personal assistant system featuring LLM orchestration, tool/function calling, and reinforcement learning.
